SME Meeting on January 19, 2010 – Presentation on Solid Modeling by 3D Vision Tech

The next meeting of SME Chapter 21 will be held on January 19, 2010 at 6.15 pm. The meeting will include a presentation on “Solid Modeling: How It Applies to Manufacturing” This presentation will focus on how solid modeling can aid in the manufacturing process. It will cover recent technologies in the solid modeling industry that can benefit manufacturing. Examples will be given using SolidWorks line of CAD related products.
The presenter is Josh Spencer, Application Engineer, 3DVision Technologies. Josh graduated Tri-State University with a Design Engineering Degree in 2006. He worked with Lippert Components as a technical liaison between manufacturing and sales. This experience along with his excellent knowledge of SolidWorks will bring a unique perspective on how solid modeling can benefit manufacturing.
